What is PAT testing?
It is now a legal requirement to have electrical appliances and leads tested for safety where they are being used outside the home and come into contact with the public. If you take a portable TV for example, into a Care Home or even a Hospital, or you are using electrical equipment in a public place it must be tested for electrical safety.
All type of trades and businesses are effected by the regulations from Shops, Offices, Pubs, Hotels, Schools, Cafes, Restaurants and even DJ's - the list is endless.

Give yourself piece of mind by getting items checked for Safety!

Using the latest technology, we can offer a PAT (portable appliance testing service). Each appliance can be be comprehensively tested to meet the exacting requirements of the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of electrical equipment. It is a legal requirement to have appliances tested to comply with the Electricity at Work Regulations of 1989.
This applies to ALL equipment which is connected to the mains supplyby a 13amp plug.
We use a computerized PAT tester and are able to test all portable appliances and leads for safety.
We inspect the equipment visually before we carryout electrical testing.
